EsterC® is a particularly bioavailable form of vitamin C. SunActive® Zinc is packaged in liposomes and can therefore be absorbed particularly well. EpiCor® consists of the inactivated yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae and its fermentation products. 

What makes Ester-C® so special? 

Ester-C is especially well absorbed and utilized: it contains calcium ascorbate, as well as small amounts of naturally occurring vitamin C metabolites. These include dehydroascorbate, calcium threonate and 4-hydroxy-5-mehtyl-3(2)-furanone. These metabolites are intermediate substances involved in normal metabolism, just as they are produced in the body when vitamin C is processed. These important metabolites can positively influence the transport and utilization of vitamin C so that vitamin C is immediately and effectively available to the body. 

In the comparison with normal vitamin C (ascorbic acid), it was shown that Ester-C® is still detectable in leukocytes 24h after ingestion. This is not the case with ascorbic acid. This means, that the immune system can be supported with a single intake for the whole day. 

Ester-C is particularly kind to the stomach: unlike conventional vitamin C, Ester-C® has a neutral pH value and is therefore also very well tolerated by people with a sensitive stomach. 

What makes SunActive® Zinc so special? 

SunActive® Zinc provides zinc in a particularly bioavailable form developed by Taiyo. Taiyo uses a special manufacturing process to package zinc into "liposome-like" particles using maltodextrin (SunActive® Zinc). Normally, zinc is absorbed through a specific transporter in the intestine, but this transporter also transports other minerals such as magnesium, calcium, copper or iron. As a result, the absorption of zinc can be reduced.  

Improved absorption: With SunActive® technology, zinc is not absorbed via specific transporters, but with the help of so-called endocytosis in the intestine. 

Using the example of a "castle siege" - this is how the immune helps your body 

The human body can be compared to a fortified castle from the Middle Ages. Our immune system takes on the role of the "guardian", providing simultaneous protection from various sides and blocking the "intruders" from getting inside.  

The weak points of the castle are two particular "gateways", which need special protection. The first "gate of entry": The respiratory tract. These are particularly protected by the SunActive® zinc contained in the immune system. On the one hand, zinc helps to contain the multiplication of the viruses by weakening them; on the other hand, zinc prevents the viruses from settling in the mucous membranes at all. 

While zinc especially guards the one "gateway", Epicor®, which is part of " Immune", protects the often forgotten second major "gateway", our intestines. Epicor® supports our intestinal flora, helps the intestine to stay healthy. After all, only a healthy intestine can do its job - which is to keep antibodies away in sufficient quantities. 

While SunActive® zinc and Epicor® prevent the "enemies" from entering, vitamin C strengthens the "knights", i.e. our immune cells, which destroy the viruses and bacteria that have broken through at an early stage. Our immune cells protect themselves with vitamin C, just as a knight protects himself with armor. Since the vitamin C of "Immune" is the special Ester-C®, it remains effective for 24 hours, or provides protection for the entire day.

Dosage

Take 1 capsule 2 times daily, preferably with meals.
